As the first legend tells, in 1992 the former of Army of Lovers Alexander Bard calls the hot sexline and discovers for himself a wonderful woman who talks to him for several hours. Then Alexander invites her to be the part of AoL and she says YES... The second version: once Alexander told that Army Of Lovers found Dominika sitting before their studio door with plastic bag on head and screaming so loud that they decided to take her in the band... I had the choice: continue to work as a striptease dancer or sing. The choice wasn't too difficult. However, as a striptease dancer, I was rather successful. Shortly before I was asked to join the Army of Lovers-project, I lived in Los Angeles. Before that, I lived for a long time in Prague. I know the band because of my career as a mannequin. La Camilla, the first singer of Army of Lovers, runs a model agency in Sweden and I was one of her most demanded models. Michaela Dornonville De La Cour worked at the same agency. We did a few shows together and became friends. Alexander and I had a relationship. We lived together, but separated even before our album The Gods Of Earth And Heaven was recorded. The separation however wasn't the end of our friendship. And with Jean-Pierre, I went to the same school. He's a bit older than me, but because of his extravagance, we became rather close. Finally Bard's plan becomes true: on 14 December 1992 he introduces to public the new member of AoL on the stage of Borsen Club. With cover-song Hasta Manana Dominika makes her first performance. That changes make AoL ABBA look-like. As Alexander said Now we can do this very ABBA thing... Dominika had her first cd picture on the cover of Israelism single (1993) and her voice recorded on La Plage de St.Tropez single (1993). The Gods of Earth and Heaven (1993) was released. Aol went on their first European tour with Dominika. In this year AoL also released Videovaganza with members' humour and glamour between clips. Then concerts in Moscow, St.Petersbourg and on 250th anniversary of Volgograd. AoL released Glory, Glamour and Gold in 1994 and press conceded it to be the best AoL album. Then came the great Wedding tour. Les Greatest Hits album (or Les Greatest Tits as AoL called it) was made in 1995 with a brand new single Give My Life. And it's become favourite Dominika's song also. King Midas single (1996) became the last one. AoL split up. Forever - as Bard told. For some time - as Dominika told. In 2001 AoL returned with three cover-versions of Let The Sunshine In (original Hair), Hands Up (Ottowan) and Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometimes (Baby D) and the new album Le Grand Docu-Soap (new complication of best songs). Then the concerts in Stockholm, Madrid, Sofia and Moscow. In 2003 AoL did two full-concert shows - in Minsk and Saint-Petersburg with Dominika, Jean-Pierre and Tilda Froling. In 2007 the biggest London's gay club G-A-Y celebrated 20 years of Alexander Bard's music success. AoL, Alcazar and BWO did their show on 21st July. AoL performed Crucified with Dominika, Alexander and Jean-Pierre. On 15 December 2007 AoL did a fantastic show in Moscow at the Olympic Stadium!
